Oil drums are manipulated and worked through meticulous, invasive and violent processes of change. Compression, burning, rolling, stretching and cutting graft a principle of life onto cold, inorganic matter that seems devoid of any poetry or soul. The sheet metal becomes a skin on which time inevitably leaves its mark.
