How Styl’Editions wallpaper is made
Every design in this catalogue, including the 2026 panoramas, starts as a drawing in our in-house design studio. Together with the designer capsules, that comes to 299 original designs, all printed in ultra-high definition in Italy’s Sassuolo ceramic district, where we have been designing surfaces since 1985.
Each design can be printed on six different papers, including vinyl wallpaper and S-FIBER fibreglass for damp rooms and busy areas. There is also sound-absorbing wallpaper, which decorates the wall and improves the acoustic comfort of the room. The materials page describes the papers one by one.
Every wallpaper is made to measure. Height, width, framing and colours are adapted to the wall, so that the seams fall in the right places and the design is not cropped. The online configurator lets you pick a design, enter the wall measurements and download the layout, with the drops calculated as they are in production.
A living-room wall and a contract project for a hotel or office go through the same process. We send physical samples and technical data sheets, and our team works with architects and other professionals from the choice of design through to production.
Frequently asked questions
Are Styl’Editions wallpapers washable?
Yes. The technical substrates we use are washable and hard-wearing, so they also suit busy areas. For bathrooms and kitchens we recommend the vinyl finishes or large ceramic slabs.
Can I order made-to-measure wallpaper?
Yes. We adapt the design, size, repeat and colourways to your project, for homes and contract work alike.
Are the wallpapers suitable for bathrooms and kitchens?
For damp rooms we offer suitable substrates and, where needed, large ceramic slabs, which give maximum resistance to water and steam.
How is the wallpaper installed?
Hanging is straightforward, but it should be done by a professional decorator. We supply technical guidance for each type of substrate.
Can I request a sample?
Yes. You can request samples and technical data sheets from any product page or from the contact page.
How can I preview the wallpaper on my wall before ordering?
In the online configurator you pick a design, enter your wall measurements and see a preview, with the drops and trim calculated as in production. You can then download the layout as a PDF and send it to us for checking and a quote.
How much does made-to-measure wallpaper cost?
The price depends on the substrate, the area to be covered and any customisation of the design. Request a quote from the product page, or send us the layout you created in the configurator.
Samples and support for your project
We send sample books and offer design support to architecture practices, interior designers and businesses. Our showroom is in Sassuolo, and there is also an exhibition space in Milan, at Brera Officina.
