Emilio Salvatore Leo

Emilio Salvatore Leo (b. 1974), an architect, is currently chairman and creative director of Lanificio Leo, the oldest textile mill in Calabria. Since 2014 he has also been creative director of Industrie Rubbettino. Particularly interested in low-tech processes with a strong identity, in giving value to error and in the unconventional use of technology, in recent years he has created numerous design objects and spoken at national and international conferences on the relationship between business and culture and on design-oriented dynamics as an approach to innovation. He also works as a consultant and lecturer for universities, higher education institutions and companies.
